GOODWIN -- Chester T. Goodwin, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died Sunday, November 30, 2003. He is survived by his daughter, Doris Benoit of Albuquerque; son, Ronald Gelinas and wife, Patricia of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Paul Benoit and wife, Michelle, Annette Kailey and husband, Bixx, Charlene Schuyler and husband, Thomas, Norma-Jean Baxter and husband, James, Kathryn Gelinas, James Gelinas and wife, Mariko and Margaret Vaughan and husband, Gary; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Mr. Goodwin was a WWII veteran and served in the U.S. Army a total of 4 years. He participated in the North African Campaign, Sicily, Anzio and the Rome-Arno Campaign. Mr. Goodwin was an avid golfer and had many friends at Arroyo del Oso Golf Course. Services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
