ROGERS -- Evelyn A. Rogers, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 17, 2003. She is survived by two of her very dear friends, Judie Thurwanger of Aurora, CO and Deloris Stewart of Albuquerque. Evelyn was a veteran of the United States Navy of WWII and Korea, in which she served for over 26 years; she served at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese surrendered and also served two years in England. Evelyn traveled all over the United States. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors.
