GORDY -- Nancy Scott Gordy, 53, a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 16, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Gordy Meyer, Haines Meyer, Nick Gordy; parents, Phyllis and Lee Scott; sister, Elsa; brothers, Joe and John; and her beloved dog, Gatsby. Nancy earned a Master's of Science in Nursing and was a nursing instructor for several years. She also worked at the Independent Living Resource Center and participated in numerous boards to improve life for the disabled in New Mexico. She will be deeply missed. A private service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4004 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Suite B, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
