ESTEVAN -- Antoinette A. Estevan, 83, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, November 12, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Eva Marie Elsner and husband, Bruce; grandson, Eric P. Elsner, all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Karen C. Elsner of Victoria, TX; and sisters, Mrs. Martin Vigil of Tesuque, NM and Mrs. Irving Alonzo of Albuquerque. Mrs. Estevan was preceded in death by her husbands, Peter R. Stephens and Bernard G. Estevan; parents, Manuel and Eva Abeita; and brothers, Lummis Abeita and Willis Abeita. She served during WWII in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Mrs. Estevan worked for many years as a nurse at the Albuquerque Indian School Hospital and P.H.S. Indian Sanatorium. She was a member of the Isleta Tribe. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Gaisttea, Hubert Abeita, Richard Alonzo, Anthony Vigil, Eugene Abeita and Jon Alonzo.
