TALAMANTE -- Antonia "Tony" Talamante, 77, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, died, Friday, October 31, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe "Joe" Talamante of Albuquerque; children, Edwina and husband Juan Bosquez, Dorothy and husband Gene Sanchez, Vernie Talamante and wife Christina, Alex Talamante, Michael Talamante and wife Marcella, Mildred and husband Johnnie Baldonado, Isabel Talamante, Nancy Ipiotis, Guadalupe Talamante, Jr. and Mary Garcia, Katy and husband Tony Benavidez, Lawrence Talamante and wife Denisha, Brenda and husband Greg Stagner, Patrick Talamante and wife Rachael; 50 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, and one great grandchild; and special friend, Anna Trujillo. Mrs. Talamante was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Talamante; her granddaughter, Mercedes Talamante; and her sister, Sophie Hensley. Prayer service will be held Sunday, November 2, 2003, at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Road NW with Pastor Gilbert Apodoca presiding. Rosary will be recited Monday, November 3, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Road NW, with Alice and Dolly Valenzuela reciting. Services will be held at Grace Apostolic Church, 1301 Third Street SW, Tuesday, November 4, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Gilbert Apodoca officiating. Interment will be in San Jose Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Talamante, Pat Talamante, Jr., David Sanchez, Adrian Talamante, Juan Baldonado, and Mark Ipiotis. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Basquez, Mikey Talamante, Lawrence Talamante, and Anthony Benevediz. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Road NW, Sunday, November 2, and Monday, November 3,2003, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family of Mrs. Talamante would like to thank Fresenius Medical Care and Presbyterian Hospice.
