GARCIA -- Eugenio "Gene" Garcia, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 46 years, died Saturday, October 18, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Tina Garcia, Albuquerque; daughter, Denise Romero and husband Roland; son, Aaron Garcia and wife Meghan of Albuquerque; daughter, Tina Garcia-Shams and husband Saeed of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Lucas Romero, Alex Garcia, Kellen Garcia, Sera Garcia, Ariana Shams; sister, Flora Montoya and husband, Juan, of Bayard, NM. Mr. Garcia was a beloved husband, devoted father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a memorial Mass will be held at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE, on Thursday, October 23, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Arkad Biczak, Celebrant.
