VAQUERA -- Mrs. Eva Marie Vaquera, 79, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 7, 2003. Mrs. Vaquera is the beloved wife of 64 years to Mr. Ezequio Vaquera Sr. Mrs. Vaquera is also survived by one daughter, Mercy Brown; three sons, Ezequio Steve Vaquera Jr. and companion Diane, Antonio R. Vaquera and wife, Tommi and Anastacio Sanchez; three sisters, Lillian Lawsson, Soyla Marquez, Cecilia Marquez and husband , Juan; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Elvira Sanchez and a daughter, Veda Ruth Baca. Mrs. Vaquera was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Blue Army. A visitation for Mrs. Vaquera will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Blue Army. A final visitation will be Friday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00am with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, James Archibeque, Pedro Vaquera, Anantacio Sanchez, Nick Vaquera, Daniel Sanchez and Pat Ruiz Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be, Eva Marie Lucero, Lynn Kelsey and Elizabeth Trujillo.
