ARMENTA -- Margarita Armenta, 90, a resident of Tijeras, passed away Friday, September 19, 2003. She is survived by 11 children, Joe Armenta, Ethel and Gilbert Sandoval, Bobby and Vivian Armenta, Jake and Daisy Armenta, Matt and Teresa Armenta, Clarence and Linda Armenta, Pauline and Gilbert Torres, Yolanda and Juan Barrera, Kathryn and John Palmer, Kathleen and Ernie Lopez and Daryl Armenta; 37 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Pedro Riboni; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacobo Armenta; her parents, Cleto and Olympia Riboni; her brothers, Pasqual, Domingo, Ferdinando, and Lorenzo; and sister, Bernardita. She loved her family and was strong in her faith until the end. Rosary for Ms. Armenta will be Tuesday, September 23, 2003, 7:30 p.m. at Holy Child Parish in Tijeras. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 24, 2003, 10:00 a.m., also at Holy Child Parish, with Fr. Mark Garanito, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Tijeras Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her sons, Joe, Bobby, Jake, Matt, Clarence, and Daryl. Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Armenta, Marcus Armenta, Mattie Armenta, Robert Harvey, Gil Sandoval, Gilbert Thomas Torres, Troy Mehring, Vidal Armenta, and Steve Armenta.
