Gittings -- Kent E. Gittings, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Tuesday, September 8, 1998. He is survived by wife, Bernadine of the family home; sons, Kirk Gittings of Albuquerque and Kent E. Gittings Jr. and his wife, Diane of Maryland; grandchildren, Gabriel and Erica Gittings; sisters, Alene Gardner of Missouri, Norma Kukowski, and Lyne Walsh of California. Kent retired as Chief Warrant Officer from the Air Force. He loved fly fishing in Northern New Mexico and Colorado. Services will be held Saturday, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the Alzheimer Association of New Mexico, 1330 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
