Contreras -- Mrs. Crucita M. Contreras, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 23, 1998. Mrs. Contreras is survived by eight daughters, Eloisa Aguilar and husband, Pablo, Beatrice Chavez, Bennie Sypien, Josephine T. Baca and husband, Tomas Jr., Sally Elasser, Libby Young, Stella Chavez and Margaret Contreras; 29 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Contreras was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon after 4:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mrs. Martha Herrera. A final visitation will be Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 Plaza NW, with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Lambert Luna. Interment will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Purk, Manuel Aguilar, Leo Chavez, Frankie Chavez, Lawrence Chavez and Richard Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Elasser and all the great-grandchildren. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
