Herrera -- Mary Jane Herrera, age 70, our beloved mother, passed away November 14, 1998. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Garcia Sr.; and her brother, Nick Garcia. Mary Jane is survived by her mother, Nieves Garcia; sons, Marcelino, Bernie, and Dean; daughters, Betty (Liz), Bessie, Velma, Theresa, Jenny, and Bernadette; three brothers; six sisters; 16 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family who loved and will miss her. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee NE, with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 1998, and Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 1998. Burial will follow at Holy Child Cemetery in Carnuel, NM. Pallbearers will be Augustine, Ricky, Gabriel, Toby, Michael, and Eusebio. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernadine, Rebekah, Tanya, and Nicholl. Arrangements by Direct Services, 2919 4th St. NW, 343-8008.
