You left behind our broken hearts and happy memories too, but we never wanted memories, we only wanted you. To some you may be forgotten, to others a part of the past, but to us who loved you, your memory will always last. Though it broke our hearts to lose you, Mom, you did not go alone, for a part of us went with you when you went home. If teardrops were a stairway and heartaches made our way, we'd walk a path to heaven and bring you back to stay. We know your love is with us and when our life is through we'll be home with you.
