Wakefield -- Laura O. Wakefield, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1944, died Wednesday, September 30, 1998. She is survived by her son, Rodney L. Wakefield and wife, Rita; granddaughters, Melissa Wakefield and Brandy Wakefield; and sister, Alma Childers. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-Montano Ward, 1100 Montano Rd. NW, with Bishop Carl Osborn conducting. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
