Longenette -- Robert Clifton Longenette, born May 7, 1934 in Tuppersplains, Ohio, lovingly known as"Uncle Bob" to his family and friends, passed away quietly at his home September 30, 1998. He was 64 years old. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sheila Sue; a son, Robert Jeffrey; a daughter, Sheryl Lynn; four grandchildren, Jason, Sara, Alex and Traci, all of Albuquerque; and nieces and nephews that were especially dear to him; three brothers, Duane and Clifford of Ohio and Charles of Colorado. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Ramsey. Mr. Longenette has been associated with Jehovah's Witnesses for 31 years and was presently serving as an Elder in the South Congregation. He also served as a Volunteer Christian Construction worker in many parts of the United States, also in both South and Central America and West Africa. He was a source of great encouragement to many people with Spiritual Sons and Daughters worldwide. There will be a memorial service for"Uncle Bob" Friday, October 9, 1998 at 6:00 p.m. It will be held at the South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2605 Foothill Rd. SW. David Johannsen officiating. Special thanks to the Veterans Administration, Doctors and staff. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the World Wide Preaching Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
