Burgess -- Robert L. Burgess, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, died Thursday, July 16, 1998. He is survived by his sister, Arnetta Davies and husband, James of Albuquerque; nieces, LaMerlis Wolf and husband, Ben of Dallas, TX and Linda Strascina and husband, Peter of Albuquerque; and nephew, Richard Davies of Albuquerque. Mr. Burgess served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Sandia Labs for 20 years and then started his own jewelry making business until he retired. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Way of Central New Mexico, 302 8th St. NW, 87102.
