Padilla -- Fred E. Padilla, 86, a life long New Mexico resident, died Thursday, February 26, 1998. He is survived by his daughter, Ruth Ortega of Santa Fe, NM; granddaughter, Cheryl Ortega and Michael Trujillo of Santa Fe, NM; sister, Guadalupe Gonzales of Albuquerque; an aunt and uncle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Padilla was a very successful business owner of"Fred's Bar" for many years, which is located in Bernalillo, NM. Rosary will be Monday, 7:00 p.m., French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., with Lucy Gonzales and Sandra Herrera reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. N.E., Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the Rosary. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers will be Christy Padilla, Wilfred Padilla, Michael Sedillo, Joseph Sedillo, Jonathan Lowry, Demetrio Martinez, and Gerald Gurule. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. N.E.
