Gallant -- CB"KIP" Gallant, 77, a resident of Moriarty, passed away December 15, 1999. He was born to Joseph and Minnie (Gaudet) Gallant, May 8, 1922 in Brockton, MA. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Michelle Gallant of Moriarty, NM; his daughter, Debra Gallant of Albuquerque; and his grandson, Derek."Kip" served in the Navy during WWII and received a Victory and Good Conduct medal. He was a member of the Lions of Moriarty and was the owner of the Frontier Bar for 24 years. A Memorial service will be held December 22, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM, with Father Tony Martinez officiating. Services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, December 22, 1999 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Child-Rite Adoption Agency, 2008 Rosina St., Santa Fe, NM 87505. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Funeral Home in Moriarty, NM.
