Savage -- Carolyn"Carol" Savage, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years and originally from Montana, died Saturday, December 18, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Savage of the family home; son, Mark Savage; daughters, Lynne Shea and husband, Mark, Lee Ann LaVigne, all of Albuquerque, and Janet Waterman and husband, Edward of Fort Collins, CO; 10 grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Hallowell of Helena, MT, Margaret Stallman of Portland, OR, and Marie Scovel and husband, Chuck of Boise, ID. Mrs. Savage was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was a great lover of books and had her own home library. She was incredibly generous with her family and friends. Mrs. Savage had suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for over 50 years, and during this time she showed faith, courage, and a positive attitude. Services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd NE, with Pastor W. Bruce Wilder, officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Mark Shea, Mark Savage, Ed Waterman, Gene Balderston, Doug LaCoss and Dick LaVigne. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
