Conklin -- The Rev. Dr. Ward Conklin, of Cook, Minnesota, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, at the age of 86. He had served as a Presbyterian Minister for 60 years. He is survived by his immediate family, which includes Gary and Leann Tonjes of Albuquerque, and their children, Jerra, Jessica and Brandt, who fondly remember his love of his home on the lake, his dedication to the ministry, and his wonderful sense of humor. Services were held in Cook, MN on Thursday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements were made by the Mlaker Funeral Home of Cook, MN, 218-666-5298.
