Sanchez -- Margarita DeLuna Sanchez, a resident of Alameda, passed away on Friday in Edgewood. She is survived by her husband, Salvador Sanchez of Alameda; two sons, Salvador Sanchez Jr. and wife, Connie of Bloomington, CA, Anthony Sanchez and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; two sisters, Erna Gurule and husband, Pat of Albuquerque, Sally Rangel and husband, Gilbert; and a special niece, Sadie Armijo of Albuquerque. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Her past 19 years were devoted to her husband as a loving wife and caretaker. She was a member of the Carmelitas and Alter Rosary Society. She was also a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, where the Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, 11:00 a.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Family and friends may visit today, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street, Norbert"Ray" Baldonado Jr.
