You taught us how we must face this sad but glorious day, and we thank you so much for that. We miss you desperately, and the thought of another year without you lays heavy in our hearts. Dad, we needed you many times this past year, and we turned to you even though we knew you were not here. We are all gathered at your house today to remember all the wonderful times that we had with you. The smoked brisket won't be the same without your touch, the laughter won't be the same without your humor. We love you and miss you more than we can ever express. You are always in our hearts and in our thoughts. Your laughter echoes in our memories just as if you were here. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband, dad, gran gran, brother and friend.
