Holloway -- Mary Jane Camper Holloway 73, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, February 1, 1999. Mother, Wife, Sister, and Friend, (affectionately called)"MJ" the daughter of the late Archibal and Augusta Camper, was born on August 28, 1925 in Phoenix Arizona. She grew up in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, Arizona. Mary Jane graduated from the Phoenix Union Colored High School. She later attended Arizona State College, locate in Tempe Arizona, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Education. Mary Jane went on to teach at various schools throughout Arizona. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1969 with her three children, Frank, Leonard, and Michelle. In 1984 she retired from the Albuquerque Public School System. Mary Jane is survived by two sons, Frank Edward Holloway of Denver, Colorado, Leonard James Holloway of Albuquerque; one daughter, Michelle Denise Holloway Brazley of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mary Jane (MJ) was a warm, sensitive, and strong willed person who was determined to provide the best for her three children. Her love for people was apparent as noticed by her generosity. She will be missed by all those whose life she touched.
