Steele -- Shelby F. Steele, 75, a resident of Tijeras died Monday, March 1, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Steele of Tijeras; sons, Shelby Steele and wife, Diane of Alaska, Dennis Steele of Texas; daughters, Mary Steele of Pennsylvania, Luan Green and husband, Kalvin of Washington, Tressa and Darrel Harris, Alvah Brown and husband, Karon, Shira Zippe and husband, Kurt, all of Texas. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Fara Holmes of Texas; one brother, three sister-in-laws, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Steele served in the Air Force SAC (Strategic Air Command) for 20 years. He was a lifetime member of the DAV and he was a member of Ambassador Ministries House of Zoe (Apostolic Prophetic Church). Shelby laid down his life for his country, his wife, his children and for the Lord. Friends may visit Wednesday, March 3, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo Blvd, NE.
