Martinez -- Mrs. Consuelo"Connie" Martinez, 65, a resident of Bosque Farms and formally of Coyote, N.M. passed away on February 27, 1999. Mrs. Martinez is the beloved mother of two daughters, Diana Chavez and husband, Miguel and Pat Garcia and husband, Richard; two sons, Steven Martinez and wife, Rita and Jose Martinez and wife, Vicky; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Michelle, Monique, Melissa, Gabriel, Steven, Monica and Dominic; two brothers, Leopoldo Trujillo and wife, Dora and Abe Garcia and wife, Lucille; an aunt, Rebecca Quintana and husband, Alfredo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerson Martinez, December 1998 and her mother, Maria Trujillo. Mrs. Martinez was a member of the catholic church, and a Eucharistic Minister for five years. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW with visitation after 6:00. Juan Sandoval will recite the rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 at St. Frances Cathedral, in Santa Fe, NM with final viewing at the church after 12:30. Father Salvador, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 with Deacon Charles Bates officiating the graveside blessing. Pallbearers will be, Chris Fischer, Andalesmo Trujillo, Toby Herrera, Roger Trujillo, Joshua Chavez, Bobby Dean, Danny Martinez and Ernest Martinez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
