Lossing -- Vera Mable Lossing, a former resident of Albuquerque and Corrales, passed away November 14, 1998, following the recurrence of cancer. She had resided in Odessa, TX since the death of her husband, James W. Lossing in 1987. Mrs. Lossing was born to Hazel Gordon and Arthur Hall in Wapanuka, OK on October 28, 1915. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Klein and husband, Dave of Albuquerque; sons, Jim R. Lossing of Olathe, KS, and Dan Lossing and wife, Susan of Lincoln, NE; sisters, Ruby Jordan of Odessa, TX, Ada Shaw of California; and brother, Grover Hall of Odessa, TX; sister-in-law, Neva Lossing of Montana; grandchildren, Laurie, Cheryl, Deana, Jade, Carrie, Jimmi R., Sean and Ryan; and great-grandchild, Braeden. A private service was held in Odessa. Cremation followed. Her family has united in Albuquerque this weekend to commemorate her passing.
