Candelaria -- Armando I. Candelaria, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, NM. He was born July 13, 1925 and passed away on February 19, 1999. He is preceded in death by his wife Rosie Garbagni Candelaria. He is survived by son, Andrew Candelaria and wife, Missy; grandchildren, Alexandra and Andrew Candelaria Jr.; sisters, Lena Gonzalez, Priscilla Chavez and husband, Edward, and Raquel Gutierrez; sister-in-law, Mary Valtierra; brothers-in-law, Raymond Garbagni and wife, Marcella and Johnny Garbagni and wife, Dioly; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Mr. Candelaria was a member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church, also a member of the American Legion Post #13; Musicians Association, in addition Mr. Candelaria was an Allumni of Menaul School of which he was very proud. Visitations will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A evening service will be conducted this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Funeral Service will be conducted Monday morning February 22, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. Interment to follow at the Las Huertas Cemetery in Placitas, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Edward Chavez Jr., Leroy Gonzalez, Dale Candelaria, Walter Candelaria, Miguel Valtierra, Manuel Garbagni, and Johnny Garbagni. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Candelaria Jr. and Alexandra Candelaria. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street. Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
