Vaughn -- William D. Vaughn, age 54, of Prewitt, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 1. Mr. Vaughn was born June 16, 1945 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to William Clifford Vaughn and Dorothy Wallace Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn is survived by his son, Rowdy Vaughn of Long Beach, CA; his daughter, Deanne and her husband, Daniel Torres of Coupland, TX; his grandson, Tristan Torres of Coupland, TX; his mother, Dorothy Vaughn of Edgewood; his two brothers, Jim Vaughn and his wife, Barbara of Prewitt and Jerry Vaughn and his wife, Pam of Tijeras; his sister, Sharon and her husband, Richard Crotwell of Edgewood; five nieces; two nephews; and three great-nieces. Mr. Vaughn was a member of UA Local 412 Plumbers and Pipefitters for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, was a member of the Prewitt Rodeo Association, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Memorial services will be Monday, September 6, 11:00 a.m., at Grants Mortuary Chapel, with Rev. Jim Thompson officiating.
