Gallegos -- Sosimo Gallegos, 70, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 1999. Mr. Gallegos was born in Tome, NM to Ricardo and Rosalia Gallegos; he was a resident of Albuquerque and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Gallegos of the family home; his children, Richard Gallegos and wife, Chris, John Gallegos, Vincent Gallegos and wife, Fernie, Jeanette Padilla, James Gallegos and wife, Catherine; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Alex Gallegos and wife, Julia, Louis Gallegos and wife, Theresa, Adelicio Gallegos and wife, Margie; two sisters, Katy Lucero and husband, Ray, Helen Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Fr. Jack Robinson Clark as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Christopher Padilla, Dion Padilla, Michael Gallegos, Matthew Gallegos, Ray Lucero, and Julian Gallegos. Funeral services are in the care and direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
