Kirkpatrick -- Edith Glocker Kirkpatrick, 84, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, August 24, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Roy Michael Kirkpatrick of La Vida Llena Retirement Center; sisters, Mildred M. Glocker and Margaret A. Glocker, both of Albuquerque; and sister-in-law, Clara Westergard and husband, Russell of Albuquerque. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 1915. She was the fourth child of Charles Albert and Edith Petrie Glocker. In her youth, she lived in St. Louis, MO and Dayton, OH. She was a graduate of Wittenburg University, Springfield, OH and The School of Library Science at Carnegie Tech, Pittsburg, PA. She served as City Librarian in Dayton, OH, Technical Librarian at Wright-Patterson, AFB, and School Librarian in Albuquerque. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 27, 1999, 1:00 p.m., at La Vida Llena, 10501 La Grima De Oro NE, in Carter Hall, with her nephew, Rev. Paul Bruwash, officiating. Entombment will take place Friday, August 27, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
