Armijo -- Josephine Armijo, 40, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 4, 1999. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta. She is survived by her children, Arturo Armijo II who is currently stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV and Iris Armijo who is a Sophomore at Los Lunas High School; her husband, Joseph Armijo; her parents, Andres and Virginia Cortez of Albuquerque; her father, Edward Ramirez of Gallup two brothers, Eddie Ramirez and his wife, Toni of Albuquerque and Danny Ramirez and his wife, Dolores of Los Lunas; five sisters, Cyria (Toy) Chavez of Grand Junction, CO, Margaret Ramirez of Grants, Mary Helen Ramirez of Grants, Denise Cortez Carrillo and her husband, Richard of Albuquerque, and Renee Cortez of Los Lunas; her aunt and uncle, Betty and Joe Cervantes of Blue Water, NM; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Josephine is also survived by many loving friends and family members. She will be missed so much! May God welcome her soul into heaven. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Valencia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, Richard Carrillo, Frank Gonzales, Daniel Ramirez, Dianne Brown, Pamela Martinez, and Jimmy Estrada. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen.
