Lovato -- Amadeo G. Lovato, age 88, of La Jara, NM, passed on to be with our Heavenly Father on August 12, 1999. He was born on December 10, 1910 in La Jara, NM. He was a self employed rancher and a school bus contractor. He is survived by his brothers, Frank Lovato and wife, Delores of Albuquerque, Don Lovato and wife, Selina of Bernalillo, NM, Rey Lovato and wife, Cypria of La Jara; three sons, Eddie Lovato and wife, Mary of La Jara, Frank Lovato and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, Randy Lovato and wife, Angie of Hawaii; three daughters, Christina Lovato Mason and husband, James of Albuquerque, Mildred Lovato Valdez of Farmington, Darlene Lovato Sandoval and husband, Leo of Cuba, NM; one daughter-in-law, Nora Lovato of Santa Fe, NM; one son-in-law, Philmon De Herrera of Cuba, NM; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, D.B. Lovato and mother, Dolores Garcia Lovato; his wife, Dulcenaia Salazar Lovato; one son, Robert Lovato of Santa Fe; one daughter, Olivia N. De Herrera of Cuba; two brothers, Pat Lovato of Farmington and Eliesio Lovato of Albuquerque. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Visitations will be held today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited today at 7:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Another Rosary will be recited tomorrow evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, with interment to follow at the Santo Nino Cemetery in La Jara, NM. Pallbearers will be Anthony D. Herrera, Eddie D. Herrera, Matthew Lovato, Mark Lovato, Peter Lovato, Henry Valdez, Dewayne Valdez, Phil Valdez, Eddie Lovato Jr., Tony Lovato, Scott Lovato, David Lovato and Peter Sandoval.
