May -- Ethel May, born January 10, 1899, a resident of Albuquerque for over 90 years, passed away July 6, 1999 with her special friends, Marie Jones, Patt Hughes and Susan Ortwerth at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard May on August 17, 1975, she has no surviving family. Marie Jones and her family and close friends became Ethels extended family. The celebrated her 100 birthday at Marie's home where they crowned her with a golden crown, surrounded her with balloons, party favors and lots of love, gifts and laughter. Private services were held. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE in charge of arrangements.
