Torres -- Mrs. Adelina Torres, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on June 27, 1999. Mrs. Torres was the beloved mother of four daughters, Rose Kelcouse, Bernice Sisneros and husband, Pete, Eileen Montoya and husband, Deacon Manuel, and Elizabeth Torres; six sons, David Torres and wife, Carmen, Bobby Torres and wife, Patsy, Carlos Torres and wife, Mary, Adolph Torres, Edward Torres and wife, Pat, and Ronnie Torres; five sisters, Louisa Lovato, Toni Armijo, Senaida Sanchez and husband, Tomas, Cora Barba and Mela Jaramillo; one brother, Lorenzo Griego; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at. St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred at 4th St. NW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Deacon and Mrs. Manuel Montoya, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Charles Stoeber S.F. Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Torres, Carlos Torres, Adolph Torres, Edward Torres, Ronnie Torres, Mark Kelcouse and David Torres. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of arrangements.
