Armijo -- Ms. Sylvia Ann Armijo, 31, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with Our Lord on Monday, June 28, 1999. Sylvia was the beloved daughter of Louis and Rita Armijo; a dear and loving sister to Yolanda Armijo and fiancee, Troy Bayles and one brother, Danny Armijo. She is also survived by her grandmother, Lydia Quintana; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sylvia was a member of the Catholic Church and was a survivor of nine years with a heart and lungs transplant. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Rosella Maldonado and Virginia Garcia, reciting. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with final visitation after 10:30 a.m. at the church, Father Gene Gries, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Quintana, Aurelio Quintana, Carlos Quintana, David Quintana, William Romero and Danny Torres. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of arrangements.
