Morgan -- Jeraldine Morgan, 95 year old, longtime Alamogordo resident, died Saturday, May 1, 1999 at Betty Dare Good Samaritan Center. She was born July 12, 1904 in Fort Stanton, New Mexico, the daughter of James V. and Ora Gilmore Tully. She graduated from the University of New Mexico. During WWII. She was the Civilian Budget and Fascial Officer at Holloman Air Force Base, Mrs. Morgan taught school at the New Mexico School for the Visually Handicapped, and in 1953, she started the Alamogordo Credit Bureau. She was a member of the Cow Belles. She is survived by two brothers, Gerald Tully and Fred Tully. A memorial service for Mrs. Morgan will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, 1999 at the Sears Alamogordo Funeral Home, 2301 First Street, with Father Scott a Ruthven of St. Johns Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. For those friends who wish memorial contributions may be made to Betty Dare Good Samaritan Center Nursing Home.
