Morgan -- John L. Morgan, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died Sunday, January 10, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Morgan of Albuquerque; sons, John Lewis Morgan, Jr. and Donald Ray Morgan, both of Chesterfield, VA and Clifford J. Morgan of Elizabeth City, VA; daughter, Cathy Lynn Stout of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Tony Morgan of Albuquerque, Leonard Morgan of Richmond, VA and William C. Morgan of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Marian Knight and Inez Bell, both fo Chesapeake, VA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and step-sons, Cisco McSorley, Richard McSorley, and Joseph McSorely, all of Albuquerque. Mr. Morgan was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #492. He retired in 1976. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., at Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Rd. NE, with Father Bob Keller, O.P., Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 713 4th St. SW 87102, or to the Brothers of the Good Shepherd, 901 13th St. NW 87102.
