Archibeque -- Joe Archibeque a resident of Albuquerque, passed away May 28, 1999 suddenly in a local hospital. He is survived by four sons, Arturo Archibeque and wife, Barbara, Marvin Archibeque and wife, Stella, Orlando Archibeque, and Robert Archibeque; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Conrad Archibeque, and Alex Archibeque and wife, Carmen; two sisters, Lucy Vigil and husband, Eulogio, Irene Montoya and husband, John. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Placida Archibeque. Mr. Archibeque was an Auditor for the State Bureau of Revenue. He spoke Navajo and the Pueblo languages and was self-taught. A Rosary will be recited Monday, May 31, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday June 1, 1999, at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment to follow at the Vista Verde Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420-4th St, NW. Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
