Majeskie -- Robert Lawrence Majeskie, age 73, passed away on June 6, 1999. He was born to Lawrence and Mary Majeskie on November 29, 1925 in Brookfield, WI. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Bette); children, Debbie Sullivan and husband, Tim, Marlane Barton and husband, Roger, Ricky Majeskie, Denise McDonald, Nadine Trimborn and husband, Mike, Gerard Majeskie and wife, Carolyn, Peggy Schofield and husband, Ernie, Melissa Stephens and husband, Theo; brothers, William Majeskie and wife, Jeanie, George Majeskie and wife, Shirley; sisters, Germaine Miner and husband, Harley, Delores Kissinger and husband, John, Mary Agnes Hoffman, Rose Marie Traver and husband, Hank and Sister St. Michael Majeskie (Izzie); grandchildren, Scot, Ryan, Daniel, Stephanie, Brian, Katie, Kelly, Angela, Jeremy, Kayla and Kelli Anne. He was preceded in death by brothers, Jerome and Larry Jr. Majeskie and sisters, Patricia Houk and Mildred Marie Seeger (Peetie). Mr. Majeskie was a Rio Rancho resident since 1977, moving from Waukesha, WI. Before retiring, Mr. Majeskie was employed as a concrete mason. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, The Rio Rancho Elks Lodge, and Rio Rancho Country Club. Mr. Majeskie was awarded Elk of the Year. He was a very avid golfer, loving husband, father and grandfather. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 1999, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at the chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with The Reverend Pieroni as Celebrant. Pallbearers are Rick Majeskie, Gerard Majeskie, Ernie Schofield, Theo Stephans, Roger Barton. Arrangements under the care of Rio Rancho Funeral Home, 2400 Southern Blvd., 891-9192.
