Mr. Pargas is survived by his wife of 58 years, Armelinda Pargas; son, Roberto Pargas Jr.; daughter, Teofilita Burton and husband, Bob; granddaughter, Cynthia (Cincia) Pargas who was raised by her grandfather; grandchildren, Alan Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia, Andrew Pargas, Michelle Hamrick and husband, Travis, Robert Anthony Pargas, Sean Burton and wife, Lisa, and Steve M. Pargas; three step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Christopher Chavez II and Brandon Chavez; and 14 step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Pargas will be held on Wednesday at the Annunciation Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sean Burton, Joe Herrera, Romolo Gonzales Jr., Derek Archibeque, Tony Pargas, and Travis Hamrick. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Chavez II, Brandon Chavez, Alan Garcia, Andrew Pargas, Steven Pargas and Robert Anthony Pargas. Visitation for Mr. Pargas will be held on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening, 7:30 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW.
