Navalesi -- Carlo Enrico (Henry) Navalesi, 76, a resident of Albuquerque for 63 years passed away Saturday, March 20, 1999. He is survived by his mother, Vincensa (Vinzie) Toresan, of Denver, CO; son, Henry Kent Navalesi, wife, April; grandsons, Kent and Eugene, Nicholas Stephen Navalesi all of Albuquerque; stepdaughters, Amy Raymond of Albuquerque and Bunnie Firestone and husband, Kermit of Tucson, AZ; brothers, Bruno Dominic Navalesi and wife, Merle of Monument, CO, Eugene (Gene) Louis Navalesi and wife, Nadean of Albuquerque; sisters, Mary Jane Cito and husband, Frank of Albuquerque, Theresa Barbara Campagnola and husband, Gene of Denver, CO; and many caring, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and dear friends. He came to Albuquerque in 1936 and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1941. Henry was born in Walsenburg, CO on March 31, 1922 to Vincensa (Vinzie) and Joseph Navalesi. He was a long time Business man and owner of Navalesi Furniture Store. Henry was a life member of Lions Club International and a past president of North Valley Lions Club. He was on the Board of Directors of Good will Industries for many years. He was active in community politics for years. Memorial services will be held, Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Pastor Danny Schuman. In lieu of flowers, because of his love of animals donations can be made to Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE, 87108. Henry was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
