Loftus -- Anna Mae Loftus, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1944, died on Sunday, March 21, 1999. She was born on June 16, 1918 in Linton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles and Mae Alderson. She married Thomas L. Loftus Sr. on July 5, 1936 in Raton, NM. She was a homemaker and mother of six children. She is survived by sons, Thomas L. Loftus Jr. and wife, Betty of Walla Walla, WA, Charles Joseph"CJ" Loftus Sr. and wife, Sheryl of Albuquerque, Patrick N. Loftus and wife, Mitzi of Albuquerque; daughter, Mary Ann Pendergrass and husband, Marvin of Albuquerque; sister, May Siscoe of Indianapolis, IN; aunt, Mrs. Faye Reed Marquez and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque; 121 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; and two children, Patrick W. Loftus and James E. Loftus Sr. Services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 1999, 1:30 p.m., at First Christian Church, 10101 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Dr. James E. Ward and Rev. James E."Ric" Huxford officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Richard Loftus, Bill Nelson, Mike Alderson, Bill Alderson, James E. Loftus Jr. and Thomas E. Loftus. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey A. Campbell, Chris Loftus, Ryan Loftus, Charles Joseph Loftus Jr., James A. Loftus, and Gerald Jones. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Tuesday, March 23, 1999, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 10101 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
