Hill -- Marie Lucille Hill, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 1999 after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary disease. Marie was born September 28, 1926 near Albin, Wyoming, the daughter of Elzie Earl and Emma Louisa Stocks Eversole. She enjoyed family history work and was a member of the NM Society of Mayflower Descendants, and a former member of the Charles Dibrell Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. Marie is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rexanna and Tracy Jones of Albuquerque and Lynda and Lewis Thurgood of Peterson, UT; grandchildren, Shelly Briggs of Utah, Stephanie Hicks of Oregon, Mattheew Jones and Emmalee Jones of Albuquerque; and four great-grandchildren, Clayton and Ashley Hickenbotham of Utah and Chelsey and Cheyennea West of Oregon. Services for Marie will be held on Friday, March 19, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Kachina LDS Chapel, 6009 Kachina St., Albuquerque, with Bishop Paul Sowards of the Volcano Cliffs LDS Ward, officiating. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
