Kight -- John P. Kight, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, March 11, 1999. He is survived by his children, Robert L. Kight and wife, Jan of Michigan, Jeanne Deaton and husband, Rod of Edgewood, NM, Terry J. Kight and wife, Patti of Minnesota, and Carol Pope and husband, Greg of Durango, CO; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Kight proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, March 15, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd Chapel, 10500 Lomas, NE with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
