Cochran -- Martha Stevenson Cochran died on March 12, 1999 in Naples, Florida at the age of 88. She was a resident of Naples for the past 16 years. Born in Washington, Pennsylvania, she was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Stevenson. Mrs. Cochran moved to the southwest in 1946 with her husband and two children and remained there until moving to Naples. Mrs. Cochran is survived by her daughter, Susan Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Thomas of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Becky, Gina, Karen, Laurie, Sonny, Thomas, David, Tommy; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Cochran in 1978, her older brother, Pressly L. Stevenson of Naples, Florida and her younger sister, Mary S. Taylor of Alexandra, Virginia. Martha was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Naples, attended Hollins College in Hollins, Virginia and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
