Miera -- Emilia Miera died on March 24, 1999 in Albuquerque. She was born in Clayton, NM and moved to Albuquerque from Santa Fe seven and a half years ago. She had worked for the NM State Department of Game & Fish before retiring. Mrs. Miera was a member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church and was preceded in death by two sisters, Eufracia Velasquez and Benigna Ulibarri. Survivors include her daughter, Ana Segura and husband, Patrick of Albuquerque; three sisters, Matilda Gallegos of Montebello, CA, Elena Candelaria and Amada Grine, both of Norwalk, CA; two brothers, E. Fermin Miera and wife, Viola of Denver, CO; and Luisa Miera of Santa Fe; two grandchildren, Andre Segura and Monet Segura; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE, with Fr. Mark Granito as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Miera, Lawrence Rivera, Arnold Miera, Juan Gallegos, Raymond Miera and Gilbert Gallegos. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., today, followed by a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
