Roybal -- Onofre E."Onie" Roybal, 75, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, was called home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 9, 1999, while surrounded by her loving family. Onie was preceded in death by her husband, Max Roybal Sr. She is survived by daughter, Maxine Lopez; son, Richard Roybal and wife, Ora; daughter, Betty Pino and husband, Michael; four grandchildren, MariaElena and Daniel Lopez and Leslie and Laurilee Roybal; four step-daughters and step-son, Max Roybal Jr. She is also survived by two step-sisters and sister, Mrs. Pablo Carillo and husband; and in-laws, Tony Padilla and Mrs. Vera Weadock. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church for 50 years. We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Cari Sodenberg for all their help and consideration. We also would like to thank the St. Joseph nurses on the 10th floor for their kindness and compassion. Thanks to Carmen and John Dubray for being such loyal friends all these years. Special thanks to all her friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuedsday, April 13, 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church on Stover SW. Onie was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. The pain in our hearts without you will always be. We know you're at peace, with no more pain. Things will never be the same without you. We love you with all our hearts and you will live on in all of us.
