Thompson -- Bob J. Thompson, 69, a resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died Wednesday, December 1, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bette Thompson; daughters, Jodi Stawicki, Janet Thompson, all of Albuquerque and Barbara Cordova and husband, Gene of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Chris Baum, Ian Cordova, Stefanie Stawicki and Malori Cordova; brother, Jim Thompson and wife, Alice of Albuquerque; and sister, Shirlene Fitzgibbon and husband, Bob of Edgewood. Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Local Pipefitters Union #412. Mr. Thompson enjoyed building and woodworking, and was an avid hunter. He loved his grandchildren very much. Services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Dan Thompson and Dennis DuBois officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Chris Baum, Ian Cordova, Dennis DuBois, Dan Thompson, Tom DuBois and Russell McDuffic. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd.
