Delara -- Florinda G. Delara, a resident of Placitas, NM, passed away following an illness. She was born March 10, 1902 and passed away September 1, 2000. She was preceded in death be her husband, Antonio Delara; five sons; three sisters; three brothers; two daughters-in-law; four grandsons; and three granddaughters. She is survived by four sons, Max Delara and wife, Esther, Alonzo Delara and wife, Beth, James Delara and wife, Beverly, and Bert Delara and wife, Rosemary; four daughters, Jane Denney, Viola Duran and husband, Bernie, Darlene Miller and husband, Raymond, and Lillian Perez. Also surviving are 42 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted this morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow at the Las Huertas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Max Delara Jr., Moises Perea, James Delara Jr., Eddie Delara Jr., Bryan Delara, and Clarence Duran. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Delara, Christopher Delara, Marty Delara, and Sheldon Delara Sr. Services entrusted to the Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. NW, Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
