Garcia -- Edith Dunn Garcia, 82, born May 17, 1918, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family, May 3, 2000. She was preceded in death in 1997 by her son, Dan Garcia; and in February, 2000 by brother, Louis Dunn. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Joe"Lalo" Garcia; daughter, Theresa"Teri" Sanchez; grandchildren, Dennis, Denise, and Dee Sanchez, all of Albuquerque, Amiee Nichols, Jeff Garcia, Carrie Lynn Morgen, all of California; five great-grandchildren, Josha Sanchez of Albuquerque, Cody, Samantha, Caroline and Alexander of California; special beloved cousins, Josie Ortega, Jesse Hacquez; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 5, 2000, with a private internment. Family and friends are invited to the Garcia family home after the Mass."Nana", we will miss you, but we know you are with the Angel in Heaven.
