Schroer -- Frances A."Fran" Schroer, born in Dayton, OH, and a fifty year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2000. She worked for many years at Sandia Corporation, and is especially remembered for her volunteer work with St. Joseph and the V.A. Hospitals. Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Henry (Hank) Schroer; and her son, John Henry (Jack) Schroer. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Charles Schroer; her grandson, John Henry (Sonny) Schroer; and her son-in-law, Douglas Boyer, all of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; and her granddaughter, Paris Albritton of Sausalito, CA. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Fran's name may be made to the New Mexico Boy's Ranch, 775 Hwy. 304, Belen, NM 87002. Sunrise Society of New Mexico, (891-8200).
